Family members of two boys killed in Cardiff while riding an electric bike have said it was an early birthday present to the younger of the victims – an occasion he will never get to celebrate.

Over 1,500 people gathered last night for a vigil at the spot where Kyrees Sullivan, 16, and Harvey Evans, 15, died in a fatal crash that sparked furious riots in Cardiff.

Dozens of blue and orange flares were lit and balloons were released as family and friends gathered on Snowden Road where hundreds of floral tributes and messages have been left since the incident.
