Police charge man over alleged armed hold-up of Busselton gun store

A 24-year-old man has been charged over an armed robbery that took place at a Busselton firearm store on Thursday.

An intruder allegedly threatened staff at the Fairlawn Road business with a handgun, before stealing a rifle and ammunition.

A Cowaramup man was arrested last night and has been charged with armed robbery, two counts of unlicensed firearm possession, and possessing a prohibited weapon.

He’s due to face Perth Magistrates Court today.
