Coldplay paid tribute to Tina Turner at their concert in Barcelona on Wednesday night (24 May) by covering her iconic song “Proud Mary”.
In footage shot by members of the crowd, Chris Martin is seen belting out the tune as he plays the guitar.
The band were performing at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, shortly after Turner’s death was announced on Wednesday.
“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” a statement from her representative read.
