Brits are flocking to the beach today to soak up the sunshine ahead of a toasty Bank Holiday weekend – and things are set to get even hotter over the next few weeks.
According to the Met Office, the country is finally set to enjoy a long overdue spell of warm weather in June, with temperatures expected to reach above average.
Meanwhile, an area of high pressure which has brought good weather across the UK over the last few days will continue into this weekend and next week.
