Living at my in-laws is ruining our marriage – all we do is argue

DEAR DEIDRE: ALTHOUGH my in-laws are great, I hate living in their house.

My partner doesn’t understand and says I am being unreasonable or moody if I say anything.

I am a 34-year-old woman and my partner is 35.

We have been living with his parents for four years because we can’t afford a place of our own.

I’ve been saving hard, but my partner won’t look at houses and neither does he want to move out.

I don’t feel like I’ve ever been relaxed as it’s not really my home. It’s like we’re in a relationship with his mum and dad.
