California man killed while trying to help ducks cross the road

A man in California was killed by a driver as he was trying to help a family of ducks cross the road.

At approximately 8.15pm on Thursday 18 May, a man parked his car at the intersection of Park Drive and Standford Ranch Boulevard in Rocklin, California, to help usher a group of ducklings off the road to safety, the Rocklin Police Department said in a press release.
