Brit tourist hit & killed by ‘drunk driver’ before being robbed of phone

A BRITISH tourist hit and killed by a “drunk driver” who was fined £60 over the crash was robbed of her phone as she lay dying, an inquest has heard.

Sonia Da Silva McCarthy, 24, from Wembley, London, was at the start of a two-year stint travelling around the world when she was killed in Tanzania in January 2020.
