Heavy storms rolling across Australia’s east coast could spoil the second half of Australia Day, to be followed by more thunderstorms and heavy rain across the weekend. 

Aussies celebrating Australia Day will swelter in temperatures reaching as high as 37C in parts of Sydney and the low to mid-30s in parts of Queensland. 

The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts Australia Day barbecues will be disrupted by mid-afternoon storms as a low pressure system…
