NYSE says trading on major stocks including Morgan Stanley, Verizon and McDonald’s was SUSPENDED due to technical issue – before being resolved

Trading for dozens of major stocks on the New York Stock Exchange were paused due to a technical issue when the market opened on Tuesday. 

Stocks for Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Verizon, McDonalds and other top traded companies were reportedly shown to have abnormally large trades when the market opened, triggering the halt. 

The issue appeared to be caused by a technical issue, CNBC’s Squawk on the Street reports, which led to several stocks plunging before the error was quickly resolved.
