Footballer Jesse Lingard has revealed he is aiming to become an actor and star in comedy films after finishing on the pitch.
The former England and Manchester United player, now with Nottingham Forest, has set his sights on becoming a big name on screen – saying he ‘just wants to be happy’.
It comes after the star recently revealed he regularly turned to drink ‘to take the pain away’ when abuse from Manchester United fans and his mother’s battle with depression became too much to bear.
