USA’s Ben Shelton, 20, wins again in just his second match OUTSIDE of America with the Florida native beating Chile’s Nicolas Jarry in straight sets in the second round of Australian Open

  • The youngster defeated his opponent 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3), 7-5 at Melbourne Park
  • The 2022 NCAA singles champion previously beat China’s Zhizhen Zhang
  • Before bursting onto the scene, Shelton had never played outside of the U.S. 
  • He either faces another American in Taylor Fritz or Australia’s Alexei Popyrin next
