A group of angry neighbours in a quiet country town have banded together to try and shut down a local animal shelter, complaining of distressing sights and putrid smells wafting from the property.
A fiery dispute has erupted between the operator of Hooves, Feathers and Claws animal shelter and its neighbours in Lowanna, in the Coffs Harbour hinterland, on NSW’s mid-north coast.
