An alleged thief has dived headfirst into a locked car after he sprinted from court, where he faced charges of stealing skill testers from shopping centres.

Robert Ursida, 45, bolted from the Elizabeth Magistrates Court in Adelaide as he was chased down by news crews on Friday.

But when he reached the awaiting black Suzuki Swift, the door would not open so he threw himself…
