Falcons TE Kyle Pitts has knee surgery, out rest of season

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts is out for the season after having surgery on Tuesday to repair the MCL in his right knee, Falcons coach Arthur Smith said Wednesday.

Pitts had injured the knee in the second half of Atlanta’s win over Chicago on Nov. 20 and missed Sunday’s loss to Washington.
