England fans have been flocking to take selfies with a giant mural of Three Lions wonderkid Jude Bellingham that was painted on a wall outside his boyhood club, Birmingham City FC.

The 19-year-old midfielder is being hailed as England’s new golden boy after his stellar performance against Iran in which he scored on his World Cup debut.

Just 35 minutes into England’s World Cup opener, Bellingham drifted into the Iran box and nodded in the Three Lions’ first goal during a 6-2 rout, beautifully guiding a header past Iran’s substitute goalkeeper Seyed Hossein Hosseini.

And now, just days after England’s emphatic Group B win over Iran, fans have been travelling in their numbers to catch a glimpse of the stunning mural painted outside his former club’s stadium, St Andrew’s.

It was painted on a wall near the club shop after he moved from his boyhood club to Borussia Dortmund for £25million in 2020 in what was a world-record price for a 17-year-old.
