  • Iran could be just weeks-off obtaining sufficient material to build its first atom bomb, although construction itself would take two years
  • US’ most sophisticated bunker-buster bombs would have to be deployed to disrupt production at Iran’s hardened Fordaw facility
  • Iran also suspected of producing weapons for Russia’s war against Ukraine, which could further escalate tensions between US and Kremlin
