Grizzlies’ Ja Morant week-to-week with Grade 1 ankle sprain



Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 left ankle sprain and is out indefinitely, the team announced on Saturday.

Morant suffered the injury late in Friday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Grizzlies said in a statement that Morant’s return to play timeline will be “week-to-week.”
