A police officer has snatched two women and a four-year-old boy from surging floodwaters in a bold, single-handed rescue operation. 

Senior Constable Richard Hansen saved the trio from a submerged 4WD on a causeway in Bingleburra, 80km north of Newcastle on Thursday. 

Footage of the daring recovery was captured on body-worn camera he had attached to the bullbar of his vehicle – as wild wet weather…
