Melania and her fired adviser go to war over Christmas comments

Melania Trump and her fired aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff went to war Wednesday over the former first lady’s Christmas comments. 

On Tuesday, Trump told Breitbart and then her office tweeted that Wolkoff ‘spitefully edited’ the conversation that was released back in October 2020 to make it sound like ‘Christmas is not significant to me.’ 

In the taped recording, the then-first lady is heard complaining: ‘I’m working…my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know. Who gives a f**k about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?’ she said, before talking about how she was facing public pressure to do something about the separations of migrant families at the U.S.-Mexico border. 

The fresh pushback comes just days after Trump launched a Christmas ornament collection featuring ‘The Christmas Star,’ engraved with Trump’s signature and sold on for $45 alongside a corresponding animated NFT, along with six other Christmas ornaments on the…
