A solemn Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took their seats at the Queen’s funeral today – with the couple sitting on the second row directly behind King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort.
The Sussexes have been placed alongside Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
On the front row alongside Charles and Camilla are the Princess Royal, her husband, Timothy Laurence; Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Peter Phillips and Zara and Mike Tindall.
Earlier, Meghan, 41, walked into the abbey in a sombre procession procession behind the Queen’s coffin. In front of her was Kate, the two eldest Cambridge children, and Prince Edward and his wife, the Duchess of Wessex.
