Kaitlin Armstrong’s lawyer claims the ‘government’s own evidence will acquit’ the yoga teacher, who is suspected of killing her love rival, because the timeline being pushed by the government doesn’t add up. 

Attorney Rick Cofer has doubled down on the innocence of his client, claiming the entire case is misogynistic towards Armstrong, 34. 

‘The whole case against Kate Armstrong is predicated on a deeply misogynistic view of her,’ Cofer told Dateline. 

‘Law enforcement’s theory, within the first 24 hours of this case, they had decided that Kaitlin Armstrong was a crazy jealous person that within a fit of rage murdered Ms. [Morah] Wilson.’ 

He also said he ‘expects’ Armstrong – who led police on a 43-day chase before being apprehended in Costa Rica – will be found ‘not guilty’ if the case goes to trial. 

Cofer claims the government hasn’t seriously examined its case and says there’s ‘no evidence’ that Armstrong was inside the black Jeep that drove past Wilson’s home after the…
