A teenage boy has been arrested after a 13-year-old girl was ‘sexually assaulted while walking through a woodland’ in Sheffield.

The victim was walking in a woodland area close to Lane End in the Chapeltown area of the city between 6.15pm and 6.45pm on Monday when the incident took place.

She was approached and sexually assaulted by a male, who then fled the area on foot, police have said.
