A Royal Navy engineer who ‘sniggered’ as he grabbed a female sailor’s bottom while she climbed up a ladder has been convicted of sexual assault.

Able Seaman Daniel Goffey, 25, groped the crew member after drinking alcohol at a Navy barbecue onboard the £3.1 billion aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales.
