  • The council voted 10-3 to control the local geese population by two thirds
  • Around 150 geese  currently visit the town’s lake and have raised nitrogen levels

Council members who voted to cull their local geese population have received death threats from ‘extinction rebellion supporters’. 

Members of Lydney Town Council, including mayor Tasha Saunders, received threatening phone calls around 2am today.
