Woolworths has warned the price of lettuce is likely to stay at an all-time high with shoppers having to wait until late August for a reprieve to their grocery bill.
In an email sent to shoppers on Thursday, the supermarket giant said weather conditions along with disrupted planting schedules will keep lettuce in short supply.
