An Indonesian fisherman has been mauled to death by a killer crocodile who dragged his half-eaten body through a river.

The fearsome reptile was seen holding the mangled prey in its jaws as it swam in the murky Ladongi River in East Kolaka Regency in Southeast Sulawesi.
