Chelsea Flower Show bids to bring the focus back to plants with category requiring minimum level of greenery

  • The Royal Horticultural Society has decided to introduce a new category  
  • Category called All About Plants sets minimum level of greenery for first time
  • Requires designers to dedicate three quarters of available space to living plants










It would not be unreasonable to assume that the Chelsea Flower Show would already be focused on plants.

But amid a boom in designs dominated by landscaping involving water features, paving and pergolas, the Royal Horticultural Society has decided to introduce a new category that gets back to basics.
