Supermarket billionaire John Catsimatidis offers reward to find killer who shot Burger King worker


The hunt for the cold-blooded killer who shot dead a New York City Burger King employee over $100 during a night shift robbery got a boost with a $10,000 reward to help find the gunman from Gristedes supermarket billionaire John Catsimatidis.

Catsimatidis, 73, said he was ’emotionally distraught’ when he heard about the death of Kristal Bayron-Nieves, 19, who was gunned down while working at an East Harlem Burger King on Sunday. 

‘I was emotionally distraught. This young woman lost her life over $100! I choked up,’ he told the New York Post on Tuesday. 

The radio host and former Republican candidate for mayor posted an ad offering a ‘$10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the killer of 19-year-old Burger King cashier Kristal Bayron-Nieves.’   

The unidentified gunman is described as a slim male who was wearing dark clothes and a black mask, according to police.
