A high flying fund manager who is close friends with two couples at the centre of a society love rift has been accused of assaulting his wife and two police officers.
Fredrik Blencke, 48, is accused of assaulting his wife Annabelle Price at their home in Vaucluse in Sydney’s east on the night of August 16.
Police arrived about 8pm and he was taken to Waverley Police Station, where he was charged with one count of assault.
An apprehended violence order was also taken out on Ms Price’s behalf.
The order states Blencke must not ‘threaten, assault or harass’ his wife, and is not to be near her within 12 hours of ‘drinking alcohol or taking illicit drugs’.
Blencke and his wife are close associates of Ellie and Charlie Aitken, and Hollie and Christopher Nasser.
The group are regularly seen at functions together, most recently posing for a photograph as they celebrated a mutual friend’s party on a Bondi rooftop

Mr Aitken announced last month he’d separated from his wife of 19 years and moved on with her younger best friend, Hollie, effectively ending two friendships and his business partnership with Mr Nasser.
Earlier in 2021, Blencke was involved in an altercation at Hotel Ravesis in Bondi, allegedly resisting arrest and assaulting a constable and senior constable after he was asked to leave the venue by security.
Blencke has pleaded not guilty to assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and remaining in the vicinity of a licensed premises.
He will return to court on May 27, 2022 to defend the charges.

Blencke’s close friends, the Aitkens and the Nassers, are in the midst of their own personal struggles as the fallout of their relationship breakdowns is made public.
Ellie released a statement on Tuesday morning revealing she was ‘not coping well with the deeply hurtful lies, gossip and innuendo’.
She announced she would be ‘taking a break from social media’ and public view while she and her family adjust to the separation and her estranged husband’s new relationship.

Ms Aitken had attempted to maintain a dignified silence and was ‘pushed to [her] limit’ over the weekend, resulting in a rogue Instagram post calling out Ms Nasser.
The post accused her former best friend of ‘bullying’ her and exposed a series of texts between the two women.
Ms Aitken shared a text message she had received from Ms Nasser to Instagram accusing her of ‘playing the victim’ and blaming her for ‘ruining her marriage’.
‘Ellie there’s no point in us talking anymore,’ Ms Nasser’s message begins.
‘I can’t believe after… you are out there playing the victim and saying I ruined your perfect marriage.’
The Instagram post was deleted within minutes, but not before it was shared widely among eastern suburbs social circles.
Now, Ms Aitken acknowledges sharing the private texts only ‘made a painful matter worse’ and acknowledged she’s struggling to navigate such a public split.
