Can you answer the $1million question? Retail worker bursts into tears as he bags a MILLION DOLLARS after gameshow win – but it’s a tough one

A stunned retail worker from Melbourne has become a millionaire after scooping the top prize on Channel 9’s Millionaire Hot Seat quiz show.

Antony McManus won fastest finger first, banking $1,000, which won him a lifeline early on in the popular show, which is hosted by Eddie McGuire.

He then answered all five questions correctly, before reaching the final hurdle – a tricky one about classic literature.

B: A Tale of Two Cities 

C: War and Peace 

D: Les Misérables 

Answer: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, published in 1844
