Anti-vaxxer influencer ‘bashed a woman and then stole her handbag after she accidentally stepped on her foot at a festival’

An anti-vaxxer influencer has been charged after she allegedly attacked a woman who accidentally stepped on her foot while at a music festival.
Kate Szepanowski, the sister of popular wellness vlogger Chloe Szepanowski, had been at the Wildlands music festival at Bowen Hills, Brisbane, on December 28, 2019 when she was bumped into by another woman.
When the woman tried to apologise a man who was with Szepanowski allegedly grabbed her throat and punched her in the face.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed a man and woman have both been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and robbery with violence each over the incident that saw the festival goer knocked to the ground.
‘Once on the ground, the pair allegedly kicked her. When she attempted to stand up, the female offender pushed her back down and grabbed the her bag, lifting it up and over her head,’ the statement read.
‘The pair then left in an unknown direction.’
The woman who was allegedly attacked reported the incident to police at the time but charges were laid after officers recently found some of her belongings at a home allegedly linked with Szepanowski, the Courier Mail reported.
The Gold Coast influencer has been vocal about her stance on vaccinations amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

In August she was called out for applauding Denmark for lifting Covid lockdowns, without realising the country opened up because of its high vaccination rate.
Her post, originally uploaded by a Swedish journalist, read: ‘HUGE NEWS: Denmark has announced they will be REMOVING all Covid restrictions including the Covid passport.’
Szepanowski wrote beneath the image: ‘Smart country’.
However, Denmark’s decision to lift restrictions was announced after the health ministry declared Covid was ‘no longer a critical threat’ because of the country’s high vaccination rate.
In another post, the mother-of-one re-shared a video which attempted to ‘expose’ the extremely rare side-effects of vaccines.
‘And this is why I would rather die than get that poison injected into me. If you feel triggered don’t even @ me,’ she wrote.
