Urgent recall for two popular Australian skincare products amid fears they could cause dangerous allergic reactions
- Urgent recall issued for Jurlique Chamomile-Rose Hydrating Essence 50ml
- Jurlique Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Face Oil 50ml has also been recalled
- Product labels may contain missing, unlisted or incorrectly ordered ingredients
- Only batches supplied before November 10 2020 are affected by the recall
An urgent recall has been issued for two popular Australian skincare products over fears ingredients may cause adverse reactions.
Jurlique Chamomile-Rose Hydrating Essence 50ml and the Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Face Oil 50ml were recalled on Wednesday.
Only batches supplied before November 10 2020 are affected.

The Australian cosmetics manufacturer, Jurlique, specialises in natural botanical based skincare products sold at retailers across the country.
Product Safety Australia warned the affected items do not have the correct mandatory ingredient labels and may contain incorrect ordering and/or missing ingredients.
The notice cautions customers may be exposed to ingredients they are sensitive or allergic to, which may cause an adverse reaction.

Anyone who purchased the affected products are advised to consult the correct ingredients which are published on the Jurlique website.
Customers are also encouraged to contact Jurlique Customer Care to obtain a full refund or replacement for the required items.
