  • Arrived at the scene at 8am on Wednesday and the fire was extinguished










The body of a man has been found inside a burnt down home in Sydney’s south.

Firefighters were called to a property on The Avenue in Hurstville at about 8am on Wednesday.

The fire was immediately extinguished and the body of a man was discovered inside.

Police were called to the home at about 8am on Wednesday and found the man deceased in the property (stock)

Police are yet to formally identify the victim, and have since launched an investigation into the house fire.
