Infected worker sparks SIX DAY Covid alert for a major Sydney shopping centre – as soccer club and JB Hi-Fi customers are plunged into isolation
- New venues including a major Sydney shopping centre listed as exposure sites
New venues have been listed as Covid exposure sites on Tuesday afternoon by NSW Health – adding to a growing list.
Among the sites is the Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre which was visited by a person with Covid on June 26, 27, 28 and 29.
Other locations include hospitality venue The Locker Room at Sydney Olympic Park and the JB Hi Fi at Westfield Bondi Junction.
NSW Health said anyone who dined indoors on the ground floor of The Locker Room on Saturday June 26 between 12pm and 2.30pm is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.
The same applies for anyone who was at Club Marconi at Bossley Park on June 26 between 10.30am and 6pm.
Anyone who visited JB Hi Fi at Westfield Bondi Junction in the city’s east on Thursday July 1 between 3.15pm and 9pm is considered a casual contact.
These people must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received and – if symptoms develop – isolate and get tested again.
Those who attended the Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre between 9am and 2pm on the following days is advised to monitor for symptoms and immediately get tested and self-isolate should they appear.
On Saturday June 26, Sunday June 27, Monday June 28 and Tuesday June 29.
